The Shaanbei-Hubei ultra-high voltage DC transmission project is a key national power project across provinces and regions. The project starts at the Shaanbei Converter Station in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, and ends at the Wuhan Converter Station in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, passing through four provinces of Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, and Hubei, with a total length of 1137 kilometers. The length of the Hubei section of the line is 142 kilometers, with the construction of 282 new towers, passing through Suizhou, Xiaogan, Huanggang, and Wuhan.
